5 Awesome Baby and Kid Products for Summer

With summer break underway I know a lot of parents are looking for fun outdoor products for their kids. Here are 5 awesome baby and kids products for summer that we use and love!

1. Step 2 sand/water table with umbrella

We bought our step 2 sand and water table 4 years ago and it has been a favorite ever since. It has dual sided play for sand and water. I chose this one because of the dual play feature and the umbrella. The umbrella is large and shades them perfectly while playing. We leave it out year round and it has held up extremely well. Amazon no longer carries the exact one we have(it can be found through other sellers on Amazon still). Here is a similar one that is currently being carried.

2. Swimming pool

A kiddie pool is always a great choice for some summer fun. We have both a shaded baby pool and a slightly larger one for our older kids.

This baby pool is adorable and perfect for little ones. It is very shallow and keeps them protected from the sun, plus the feet squeak! My son and daughter still love playing in this one.

We have an Intex kiddie pool for our older kids. The bottom is slightly padded which is nice. It is 58” by 13”. The kids have plenty of room to splash around and have fun in this pool. You can usually find it on sale at amazon. We bought ours for $13!

3. Fishing set

A fishing set is the perfect addition to any swimming pool! This 8 piece set has a pole, net, storage bag and fish to catch. My kids have thoroughly enjoyed this set.

4. Balance bike

The Twista balance bike is one of the coolest bikes! We have a ton of outdoor ride on toys but this is a clear favorite. My daughter has gained so much confidence on this bike. The three wheel design offers more stability and helps prepare kids to ride a bike with no training wheels. It is suitable for kids 18 months and up to 44 lbs. The seat easily adjusts to grow with your child. Even with training wheels my kids always struggled to peddle over the hilly land we have. With this bike my daughter can jump on and go. She loves the independence this bike gives her.

5. Badger sunscreen

Badger sunscreen is always our go to sunscreen. We have used it for years and love it! It is perfect for the whole family. Badger sunscreen is reef friendly, non GMO, organic, family owned, cruelty free, and protects against both UVA and UVB rays with non-nano zinc oxide.

The regular baby sunscreen we buy is white and goes on a little thick at first, but don’t worry it rubs in and is barely noticeable.

They offer a clear version kid version which is wonderful as well!
