ToucanBox Review

Our first subscription box of the summer arrived and the kids couldn’t wait to get started! This review is about ToucanBox which I ordered for each of the kids. ToucanBox is an arts and crafts subscription box for kids ages 3-8. The boxes come monthly and have at least two crafts in them plus stickers and a little magazine. Liam tore into his box before I could even get them in the door.

In Liam’s box were felt mice, butterfly project and watercolors.

Pippa had a canvas, foam shapes, butterfly project and watercolors.

They each had the same butterfly project. They were a little more involved than the other projects but still easy. The kids have enjoyed playing with their butterflies. The watercolors came with a guide to mixing colors to create new ones . I gave them each some card stock and let them create a watercolor picture.

Pippa had a canvas to paint. She is only three so I helped her cut the foam and glue it onto her canvas, then she painted the canvas all by herself. She also had some foam circles that she could peel and stick on a background that was included. It was perfect because she could do a lot of it on her own with some minor assistance from me.

Liam’s first project was making felt mice. He is six and was able to make these all on his own. They were very simple, and the directions were easy for him to read and understand.

The boxes were a huge hit and we can’t wait to see what we get next month! I loved doing arts and crafts with the kids but we don’t have a huge stash of supplies and coming up with fun ideas can be a bit tedious. These boxes are perfect because everything you need is included. The directions for each of the projects were clear and easy to follow. A special little touch is that each box is personalized on the outside and inside with your child’s name.

Overall I would definitely recommend this box! It is only 12.95 a month and shipping is very reasonable at 1.95. You can cancel your subscription anytime with just a few clicks.
